I think I have a new favorite pricier place. My sister chose to try this place because of the dineLA experience and exposure. Parking is a bit difficult. It's in a cramped plaza with random bakeries and other small restaurants. Hibi. Is also rather small, quiet, and intimate. The service is impeccable, and they're generous and thoughtful. Every time my sister went to the restroom, the waitstaff came and refolded her lap napkin. She went numerous times (lol, a personal reason), and they did so each time. My sister isn't familiar with makgeolli, so they let her try a little before she decided on it. It was very good. She ended up choosing the Hwaju, which she says tastes like Pinot Grigio. Everything was so delicious with an eyes-widening and yum/mmm reaction. The menu we had at this time started with kanpachi, which had a wasabi-kanpachi topped fried rice cracker. I was savoring it in as many bites as I could. Next, we had the uni that lay across a bed of sakura shaped sliced pink and white radishes and noodles (they weren't exactly soba noodles but maybe had shirataki texture and slippery marinating in a sauce. I don't know why the radish was pink, or at least I might have forgotten. I think the sauce was ponzu, but I was too eager to eat to pay attention. The blue prawn was like a little Asian taco combined with a gyutatsu set-up. There was a hot plate with the prawn on top of it. Lettuce with avocado and some savory seasonings were waiting for the prawn. The salt cod was like a cod paté, to be eaten with a tiny baguette. It spread like butter. I think that this was okay. It was good but not my favorite. The geoduck with the perilla oil fried rice and a savory foam was tasty. I am generally not a fan of geoduck, but it tasted like mushrooms and so I was okay with it. The lambchops were seasoned and cooked very well. I normally hate lamb, but it was bone-licking delicious. There's some sauce that goes along with it, but I ate it all up without the sauce. We added wagyu to our order. There were tiny cubes of sweet potato and kimchi radishes that were yummy. The beef was cooked the way i like it, which is medium or medium rare. It paired well with the sauce, I also don't remember what was in it. Dessert was a sesame ice cream covered with a tasty casing. I can't tell if it was white chocolate or if it was mugwort. It was dusted with some cookie crumbles and some other stuff. It was sooooo good. I also had the yuzu sparkling soda. If I could give this place a 10, I would.

Our visit was for the dinela experience and it was perfection!!! The place is limited in seats so I understand why the booking for dinner was a two week wait. The service was at a Michelin star level and the food was so exquisite. Each course was a journey through the palate. Every course was to perfection. If I had to give a critique, maybe the wagyu beef could have used a bit more salt due to the thickness of it but that was very minor. I can't wait to go back for their next chapter menu!

Located in a small plaza near ktown, street parking is hard to come by but we were able to find some two blocks away on a Thursday evening. Atmosphere felt definitely high end with the dimness and the nice silverware and plates, but it's definitely still a louder environment. Staff is really great, professional, attentive and friendly. They did a great job explaining all the dishes and answering any questions we had. Always kept the table clean and brought food out to us very promptly! As for the Dine LA menu, I think it was pretty unique! There were dishes I've never had before and 90% of them worked and was pretty good! We were worried about not having enough food, but it's plenty for a dinner. Presentation of the dishes were gorgeous but I was a little bummed that we didn't get to order off their regular menu, which was stated in the reservation booking that it would be Dine LA but there were some dishes from there we wanted to try! Prawnssam dish, lamb chop, and the abalone rice were amongst our favorite dishes of the night. Dessert was really delicious as well, it had black sesame which I personally am not a huge fan of but it was so subtle, it ended up being really good. The only dish we found to have an interesting overall taste was the uni daikon and jelly dish. It was not bad, but my palette didn't know how to comprehend the flavors. The tartness of the sauce definitely took away from the creamy, sweet uni, but the uni on its own was great. Overall a great, filling experience! Would like to come back to try the regular menu!

Went for the Dine LA experience and love it. Everything tasted very well. We got wagyu and lamb. Love both. The dessert was sesame ice cream.
